Frown Lines

When we frown for any reason, we gather the tissue between our eyebrows into a fold. In some of us, this causes a chronic furrow. Lines can get etched into the skin even at an early age. This can produce a worried, discouraged, angry look on our face. Fortunately, botulinum injections like Botox Cosmetic, Dysport, and Xeomin are very effective at softening these lines. If the lines are very deep, the addition of an injection of hyaluronic acid helps to "fill" the lines further. Laser resurfacing helps to smooth the etched in lines.
