Since the mid-1990s, the physicians at MDLSV have used the Silk Touch CO2 ablative laser to treat many kinds of skin problems. It has an adjustable type of laser energy that vaporizes tissue. It is used now primarily to treat unwanted growths such as resistant warts*. Its uses for facial resurfacing have generally been replaced by less invasive, fractional lasers.
