BOTOX Cosmetic®

BOTOX® Cosmetic is the trade name of Botulinum Type A, which is a powerful muscle relaxant. When injected in tiny amounts directly into a specific muscle, only the action of that muscle will be relaxed. This is very effective at softening the lines that come from facial movements like frowning and squinting. The board-certified dermatologists at the MDLSVI are very experienced with BOTOX injections.
